League of Legends Lecture
League of Legends is the most popular video game in the world with millions of players and an esports scene that attracts over 100 million viewers. It’s also one of the most difficult games to master, with complex mechanics and roles and a massive roster of champions to choose from.
Before the millions of players, billions in revenue and esports tournaments with 100 million spectators, League was more of an idea than a game. Its creators, co-founders Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck, were college buddies with different career goals — Beck was a management consultant at Bain & Company, while Merrill was working on a master’s in business administration at the University of Southern California.
Despite the massive player base and professional esports scene, League of Legends is still very much a work in progress. The team at Riot Game constantly tweaks and refines the game, trying to balance the needs of the existing audience with new opportunities for growth.

The first and most crucial concept is that you must focus on primary objectives, which are the things your team won’t win without. Secondary objectives are helpful in achieving these primary objectives, but they aren’t required for victory. For example, the Scryer’s Bloom can reveal champions for a short amount of time and other units for longer, but it isn’t necessary for winning matches on the Rift. 롤대리
